Try the same exercise with “10 months” instead of “10 weeks,” and the weekday would almost certainly be different, since months vary in length from 28 to 31 days.
This same-weekday behavior is one reason services that bill or renew “every 10 weeks” are easy to track mentally: whatever day of the week the first charge landed on, every subsequent one will too. The date-within-the-month, on the other hand, will drift a bit each cycle, since 70 days doesn’t divide evenly into any fixed number of calendar months — it typically spans a little over two months, sometimes crossing a leap-day boundary in late February, which nudges the date by an extra day in a leap year.
